Hi, I'm Anya Sobakina and I'm a beauty hunter!
Today I will share with you a list of products I can’t live as a brow artist (or maybe I can .. but I don’t want to)
Here we go.
The first indispensable product in my heart and brow case is Okis Shampoo.
This is the most universal product on my desk. This Shampoo:
- removes makeup;
- prepares skin and hair before dyeing;
- degreases;
- acts as an antiseptic.
In simple words, it perfectly prepares the skin before the eyebrow coloring procedure.
On the prepared skin, I can already start modeling and marking, and at this stage I also have favorites.
Before coloring, I draw the PERFECT shape of the eyebrows with a pencil from ProVG. These beauties have been with me since the beginning of my eyebrow career. Pencils:
- perfectly pass the dye on the skin;
- the texture of medium hardness allows you to draw the clearest and most graphic line;
- 4 completely different shades will help to make modeling any client (be it Madonna or Beyoncé).
If the client's eyebrows are asymmetrical and I need to draw a mathematical formula on the face for a good result, I use a ruler from Okis with a convenient markup.
By the way, if there is no confidence in the clarity of the lines, you need to use an eyebrow paste from CC Brow, a clear outline will help make the result neater and more graphic.
After the manipulations, you can start dyeing. You can talk about tint or henna forever. I think this will be the topic of our next long read.
Another life hack from me. For the color to stabilize faster, I advise you to use Okis Color Fix. Instead of water, wash off the tint with it after the required time and you will see the final result not after 2 hours, but after 20 minutes.
I do eyebrow correction with tweezers, I personally like Brow Henna, but here I advise you to test. Whatever brand the tweezers are, first of all, the tool should lie comfortably in the hand.
I remove the sinister fluff with a thread for threading by Vanity. Then the result is as clean as possible, and the client, when she sees the thread, perceives you as an eyebrow sensei.
After the procedure, I always decorate the area around the eyebrows. For the client to leave me not as after torture, but as after a SPA.
Redness on the skin is easy to cover with ProVG correctors:
- a large range of colors will allow making a natural effect for any client
- soft texture will not create a mask effect
And the final step. Like a wave of a magic wand, CC Brow brow fixer, and even with keratin, I style the hairs in the right direction. And if the client wants sable eyebrows (well, like on Instagram), I use Zola soap, it firmly fixes the hairs along a given trajectory.
It becomes easier and more interesting to work with these products, and the result is always positive.
Have you taken note? All right, go test it :)
