Hello beauty hunter`s kitties.
Today with you Elena Burlachenko, an eyebrow specialist and teacher at Beauty Hunter LAB, and we will talk about one of the most popular dyes - ZOLA eyebrow and eyelash dye. From this topic you will learn about the features of Zola dye, colors and the most popular mixes.

Features of working with Zola dye

The Zola brand is one of the most progressive in the Ukrainian market. It has a lot of cool necessary products in its assortment: compositions for lamination, means for preparing skin for coloring and a large number of accessories for eyebrow stylists, lash lift specialists and makeup artists.
A real bestseller of the brand was a tint with a new formula and two oxides.
We will figure out what kind of animal this is and how to deal with it.

The Zola dye has several features that fundamentally distinguish it from others:

The dye is initially pigmented. This means that it will be as convenient as possible for both beginners and experienced craftsmen. This is also a big plus for teachers, because it will be easier for the student to clearly explain the whole process.

New dye oxidation technology. The Zola eyebrow and eyelash coloring system uses a new generation of alkali instead of ammonia (DMAMP ULTRA PC), which allows you to perform soft and gentle coloring of the hairs, while leaving a bright juicy imprint on the skin and hair due to the increase in the amount of pigments.

Additional care and nutrition during tinting. The dye contains a large number of care components that nourish and moisturize the hairs and skin, do not overdry or dehydrate it during the dyeing process.
For example: hydrolyzed collagen improves the flexibility and elasticity of the hair, and helps to reduce porosity. Lanolin moisturizes and nourishes dehydrated skin.

Expanded possibilities of use of dye. The advantages of the Zola staining system include the presence of two oxides in the dye line (3% and 1.8%), which expands the range of work with it.
Oxide 3% percent gives us a good imprint on the skin and lasting staining, including on gray hairs. But the manufacturer does not recommend using this oxide after lamination of eyelashes or long-term styling of eyebrows, as well as for coloring eyelashes.
But 1.8% oxide makes the dye even more gentle and makes it possible to use tint for coloring after lamination of eyelashes and long-term styling of eyebrows. Oxide allows you to tint over the skin well and not darken the hairs.

Zola dye coloristic

Let's talk directly about the dye itself: colors, formats, mixes.

Zola has 2 dye formats in a tube and in a sachet. I will attribute this to a significant advantage - there is an opportunity to try something new for yourself without buying a full-size dye format.
The shelf life of the dye in closed form is 3 years from the date of production and 3 months from the date of opening. Although, I'm sure that you use this dye much faster - it will turn out masterpieces for your Instagram.

Zola tint palette

  • 01 LIGHT BROWN - has a neutral color tone. Accordingly, it will open warm on warm girls and cold, respectively, on girls with a cold undertone. Suitable for fair girls.
  • 02 WARM BROWN - warm brown with copper undertones. Ideal for warming any of the shades. Perfect redhead (suitable for redheads)
  • 03 BROWN - brown on a natural green base. Suitable for dark girls.

Mixes of Zola tint

Catch a list of mixes for different color types of your clients.

01+03 for colder - 90/10

For fair-haired girls:
01 - will be natural.
01+04 for more saturated eyebrows - 70/30

For brunettes and brown-haired women:
03 - neutral brown (universal)
For a more intense color, you can add 02 to make the color warmer and richer, or 05 to make the color deeper and darker.
04 - for rich, but more natural shades.
05 - to create deeper and more saturated colors.

A few life hacks for working with ZOLA dye:

  1. Shades 01 Light Brown, 02 Warm Brown and 03 Brown hardly darken the hair. If you are afraid to darken your hair, work only with them and apply in a thin layer.
  2. If working with porous hair or after DU use oxide 1.8% and apply in a thin layer.
  3. The dye has a fairly low level of tone depth, which is what allows you to achieve graphics on the skin and ensure a long wear of the dye.

This is all the basic information you need to work with Zola and get wow results. Try, test, be inspired and create.

I love you all the whole!
