Luna Moon Carbide Nail Bit, Blue, Fir Tree Shape, 4.2 mm
The Luna Moon carbide nail bit features a fir tree shape and blue cross-cut fluting. It is designed for removing artificial nail coatings, nail correction, and arch filing. Its tapered profile allows convenient work in hard-to-reach areas, while the deeper cross-cut pattern helps remove material efficiently and evenly. Each bit undergoes a shank-centering check to support smooth rotation during use.
Key Benefits
- Tapered fir tree shape for working in hard-to-reach areas.
- Suitable for removing soft, hard, and hybrid coatings, nail correction, and arch filing.
- Deeper cross-cut fluting supports efficient material removal.
- Blue markings indicate medium abrasiveness. The cut is sharper than that of the standard Luna Moon blue-cut fir tree bit.
- Made from tungsten carbide for strength and wear resistance.
- Sharp working tip allows precise filing.
- According to the manufacturer, the bit is wear-resistant, does not darken after sterilization, and resists material buildup.
- Recommended speed: 25,000–35,000 RPM.
How to Use
- Insert the bit into the e-file and select Forward rotation.
- Work at the recommended speed of 25,000–35,000 RPM, taking the coating type and filing technique into account.
- After use, clean the bit with a dedicated brush, then soak it in a suitable instrument-cleaning solution or clean it in an ultrasonic cleaner.
- Follow the disinfectant manufacturer's instructions for the correct solution concentration.
- Before dry-heat sterilization, make sure the bit is completely dry. Do not exceed 180°C.
